چکیده
Satellite communication offers the prospect of service continuity over uncovered and under-covered areas, ubiquity, scalability. However, several challenges must first be addressed to realize these benefits, as resource management, network control, security, spectrum energy usage satellite networks are more challenging than that terrestrial networks. Meanwhile, artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning, deep reinforcement has been steadily growing a research field shown successful results in diverse applications, wireless communication. In particular, application AI wide variety aspects demonstrated excellent potential, beam-hopping, anti-jamming, traffic forecasting, channel modeling, telemetry mining, ionospheric scintillation detecting, interference managing, remote sensing, behavior space-air-ground integrating, managing. This work thus provides general overview AI, its sub-fields, state-of-the-art algorithms. Several facing systems then discussed, their proposed potential AI-based solutions presented. Finally, an outlook is drawn, future steps suggested.

An Artificial Intelligence Planner for Satellite Operations
Planning and scheduling are closely related areas with which the AI community has been long concerned. The first one deals with finding plans to achieve some goals from an initial state; that is, a sequence of activities that will modify the initial state into another that satisfies the goals. The second one refers to the allocation of available resources to known activities over time in order ...
متن کاملA Framework for Developing Artificial Intelligence for Autonomous Satellite Operations
In the world of educational satellites, student teams manually conduct operations daily. Educational satellites typically travel in a Low Earth Orbit allowing communication for approximately thirty minutes each day. Manual operations during these times is manageable for student teams as the required manpower is minimal. The international Global Educational Network for Satellite Operations (GENS...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence and Risk Communication
The challenges of effective health risk communication are well known. This paper provides pointers to the health communication literature that discuss these problems. Tailoring printed information, visual displays, and interactive multimedia have been proposed in the health communication literature as promising approaches. Online risk communication applications are increasing on the internet. H...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence for Artificial Artificial Intelligence
Crowdsourcing platforms such as Amazon Mechanical Turk have become popular for a wide variety of human intelligence tasks; however, quality control continues to be a significant challenge. Recently, we propose TURKONTROL, a theoretical model based on POMDPs to optimize iterative, crowdsourced workflows. However, they neither describe how to learn the model parameters, nor show its effectiveness...
متن کاملArtificial Intelligence— A Modern Approach -- A Review
Within the past three years, several new AI textbooks have been published, all written by well-known researchers (Dean, Allen, and Aloiminos 1995; Russell and Norvig 1995; Shoham 1994; Ginsberg 1993). Thus, it is not surprising that the authors of each of these textbooks have sought a way to distinguish their own book from the rest. The hook for Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig's new textbook, A...
